Amy and Eliot Cabot have been musicians and performers for over thirty years. They grew up in the same town, attended the same high school, but never really knew each other until they reconnected in NYC in the 90's. They then formed a band, and have been playing music together ever since.
Eliot has been a guitarist since his teen years, and attended Manhattan School of Music, studying classical guitar. Amy has spent her life around music, the daughter of a cartoonist/ musician, she is a multi-instrumentalist dabbling in guitar, keys, horn, ukulele, and more... 'Ball and Chain' is a labor of love for the Cabots - they feel lucky to share a love of music, and to be able to spend time rehearsing and performing together. Their repertoire is varied, you'll hear tunes from genres like 70's am radio, blues, rock, americana, the 20's and 30's...all with their own, unique take, and a blend of great harmonies throughout. |
